ADA was originally retained to perform a Facilities Study to detail the deficiencies of the eight schools and the administration building. As a result, each facility was completely renovated to be both “Safe and Sound”. Exterior work was the primary focus and included structural and masonry repairs. All roof systems were replaced with a newer polyurethane foam technology that provided a longer warranty than standard roofing systems.

The window replacement included the replacement of over 700 openings with metal windows with single pane glass with new aluminum windows with insulated glass and vinyl shades. The door replacement included the replacement of over 220 antiquated units with new insulated aluminum/FRP units.

Interior renovations were performed at each facility to improve the learning and teaching environment, upgrade the technology, to enhance the auditoriums and to provide handicap accessibility.

Parking lots, drives and concrete walks were replaced at each facility to improve drop-off and pick-up procedures and provide safe conditions for all students. Stadium improvements included the replacement of the gravel track with a new rubber system, the replacement of the grandstands, the construction of a new storage facility and a monumental entrance that was later dedicated to a past administrator.
